Abuse Awareness Training

Diamond Leader Training focuses on ensuring children have a positive, well-rounded experience on and off the field. This  FREE educational resource provides coaches with an understanding of the impact that mental, social, and emotional well-being has in youth sports through detailed information, interactive scenarios, and a variety of additional resources.

The Abuse Awareness for Adults was developed by USA Baseball and hosted by David Ross, former Major Leaguer and current manager for the Chicago Cubs. This course provides resources to create a positive and safe environment for all athletes, coaches, parents, umpires, and spectators by understanding how to recognize misconduct and abuse of all types. Topics covered include how to identify and report incidents and what abuse awareness policies should be in place.
